This is an exciting opportunity to join early in the product growth phase and help shape how the platform is positioned, demonstrated, and deployed in the market.


Role Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect to bridge sales, product, and implementation. This role is critical to helping KonnectAi sell, demo, and deploy solutions efficiently while reducing dependency on external professional services.

This is a customer-facing, commercially oriented role—not a pure engineering position.

The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing technical concepts, mapping business workflows, and running structured demos.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and leadership on pre-sales discovery and solution design

  • Run live demos and proof-of-concepts for prospects and partners

  • Translate HR use cases into AI-enabled workflows and configurations

  • Support SMB, mid-market, and select enterprise sales cycles

  • Tailor standardized demo environments to align with prospect needs

  • Act as the technical and functional expert in sales conversations

  • Help package customizations into repeatable solution offerings

  • Collaborate with partner platforms and tools as part of joint go-to-market efforts


Demo & Pre-Sales Approach

  • Demos are primarily standardized, with light customization based on prospect workflows

  • Focus is on storytelling and solution mapping rather than building custom demo environments

  • Proof-of-concepts are structured and repeatable whenever possible


Technical Expectations

This role requires technical fluency, not hands-on engineering.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Understand core technical concepts (APIs, integrations, AI workflows, automation)

  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Learn new platforms quickly with minimal documentation


Experience & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in one or more of the following roles:

    • Sales Engineer

    • Solutions Consultant / Solutions Architect

    • Pre-Sales Engineer

    • Implementation Consultant with sales-cycle exposure

  • Experience supporting live sales cycles, including:

    • Discovery calls

    • Demos and solution walkthroughs

    • Proofs of concept

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical buyers

  • Comfort working directly with executives, founders, and senior stakeholders

  • Exposure to one or more of the following areas:

    • AI / LLM tools and prompting concepts

    • HR or enterprise SaaS platforms

    • Low-code / no-code workflow automation

    • Basic API and integration concepts

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  • Demonstrated experience and capability are more important than formal credentials
